CHIROPRACTIC DR A WASTE?

Chiropractic Dr a waste? I don't think so, but what with all the anti-chiropractic rhetoric and websites I've seen lately it's a wonder anyone is still going to us quacks. My point is that the information being presented against us is logical, poignant and very well done whereas the chiropractic defense usually goes something like,"Oh yeah,well you're an idiot." If I didn't know better I would probably join the other camp. The reasoning is that the pharmaceutical/medical people must be right, heck they have all the money don't they?? But we have to realize that all that glitters is not gold. The case against us seems logical and it is except for the one sticky point counselor, the basic beginning premise is false. Medicine operates on this premise and the idea is that the human body cannot heal without the intervention of well documented scientifically proven medicine. This tenet however is contrary to God's wisdom which is that the body does not need help to heal, rather it needs no interference! Chiropractic believes the cause of disease is interference to normal nerve transmission by misaligned bones which impinge on the soft nerves, the conduits of electrical impulse.
Because of the diametrically opposed views that most medical wisdom has to chiropractic philosophy it is clear as to why we often quarrel and when people disagree naturally insults begin to fly. The insults have not been so blatant or overt from those medical minions, bent on making the point that chiropractors are not doctors, they simply address the chiropractic dr using the pejorative "mister". My reply to those often sneaky attempts at slurring us is "since you wont call me doctor I will call you doctor because your body actually heals itself." My disarming retort, when they expected a fight, usually brings the attacker to his back in a sort of verbal Judo throw and opens the way for greater understanding. In most cases I've found that the when people are afraid, usually of what they don't understand, they attack.
